Procedures and Policies:

Register your child or children by filling the online registration form. Send the fees with your child in a clearly marked envelope. Your child should give it to their class teacher.
Students are not permitted to switch clubs.
Students can choose more than one activity so long as it does not fall on the same day.
Please make sure that the chosen program is suitable for your child and they are interested. Lack of interest usually leads to misbehavior and disturbs the other kids. If such behavior occurs, consequences may apply.
Bad or disrespectful behavior will not be tolerated, and continued misbehavior may result in expulsion from the afterschool programs.
If your child will not attend an activity due to absence or because they must leave early, please inform the afterschool program organizers by email before 1:30PM.
Students who are enrolled in a program and miss two weeks of the program without a valid reason may be dismissed.
No refunds will be given for paid activities.
A list of tools, supplies or other resources may be required for some of the activities. You will be notified of the items after enrollment.

Dismissal:

No bus transportation will be available.
Students must be picked up no later than 15 mins after the end of their activity. A member of the after-school team will be on site and available until 4:00 PM. Thereafter, the student will be left in the care of the security guards in the reception area of the school.

Our Activities

Choir

Day: Sunday
Time: 2:30 – 3:50 pm

The choir offers the students the opportunity to discover their joy in singing German, English and other international songs. The songs’ text, technical details of music instrument and the composer’s musical works will be discussed with the students.

Vocal training, breathing exercises and learning music notes is another part of the choir. The main goal of the choir lesson is to encourage the joy of music and singing through the music, to strengthen the balance and happiness in every child.

Table Tennis

Table tennis is one of the most popular sports in the world. The game is so popular because it demands body and mind in many ways.
Playing table tennis is not only fun, but also smart. In addition, table tennis is the fastest throwback sport in the world.
This table tennis club offers schoolchildren an easy introduction to a sport, which can also have a positive impact on school performance.
Girls and boys are equally invited.

Theatre German

They will be motivated and encouraged to show their real abilities on stage.
We are looking forward to having a great and playful activity with your children.
Our first play will take place during the winter celebration.

Theatre German (Grades 4 -6)

English Book club

Day: Wednesdays
Time: 2:30 to 3:50pm

This will take place once a week. The idea of this activity is to discuss elements of stories. The students will receive a pdf or digital copy of the book (if they have tablets). Our main focus will be to discuss elements of stories among book lovers! We will be reading English literature together and enjoy exploring the setting, characters, plot, conflict, resolution, themes, and our points of view of the stories. Not only will this after-school activity improve our spoken language, but it enhances our reading comprehension as well.

Cooking

Healthy body leads to healthy mind.
In this activity the students will learn to focus on specific tasks, work with others and take responsibility.

Decoupage

Decoupage is the art of decorating an object by gluing colored paper cutouts onto it in combination with special paint effects, gold leaf, and other decorative elements. Commonly, an object like a small box or an item of furniture is covered by cutouts from magazines or from purpose-manufactured papers as attached.
