Welcome to the bilingual Kindergarten at Europa Schule Neu Kairo
The bilingual Kindergarten is an all-day facility that accepts children from 3 – 6 years of age into its baby class and Kindergarten stages.
We divide the Kindergarten groups per age into:
Each group is led by a German teacher and a German-speaking teaching assistant. We are also offering a daily English class. In addition to that, we give extra German and English lessons through the following: German as a Foreign Language (DaF) and English as a Second Language (ESL) so the children can be further supported in learning the languages. In all Kindergarten groups, we believe that the most important foundation in learning other languages is the fluency of the children’s mother tongue. That is why teaching Arabic is effective in fostering children's learning abilities in other areas.

The day starts at 8:00 a.m. and we welcome our children at the kindergarten gate between 7:00 and 8:00 a.m. from Sundays to Thursdays. The focal points of our pedagogical concept/approach are:
1) social, cognitive, and emotional development of the child,
2) the role of nature as an environment in which the children grow and develop. Through differentiated and personalized instructions, we want to ensure that we support the development of each child.
Being a bilingual Kindergarten for children from different countries, we have the great challenge of addressing the diversity in the families and backgrounds of the children enrolled in ESNK. The basis of our work is therefore to create a strong social environment, both for Egyptian children who are growing up with two or three languages, as well as for German and English native speaking children, who are influenced by the frequent change of the city they may call home. In all our activities, we put particular emphasis on teaching social values, in the form of the development of personalities (character) and social education. Kindergarten is a big step in your child’s life and such an exciting time. Your child will be in safe hands, and we will do everything to ensure a safe, positive, and successful year for your child.
